Emacs Font change
I install Debian in my personal laptop and using Mac OS X in my office. Of course, I install and use Emacs both environment.
I selected Inconsolata as my favorite font, but recently I prefer Monaco and Osaka combination. This is a memo of my emacs font configuration.
(when window-system (global-set-key [ns-drag-file] 'ns-find-file) (defvar fixed-width-use-QuickDraw-for-ascii t) (create-fontset-from-ascii-font "-apple-Monaco-medium-normal-normal-*-14-*-*-*-m-0-iso10646-1" nil "myfavoritefontset") (set-fontset-font "fontset-myfavoritefontset" 'japanese-jisx0208 ;'unicode (font-spec :family "Osaka" :size 16) nil 'append) (add-to-list 'default-frame-alist '(font . "fontset-myfavoritefontset")))
Monaco and Osaka are installed as default. There is no step to use Monaco and Osaka on Emacs except adding above configuration to Emacs init file.
